Our mission
Most of what is written about a growing company is a founder interview or a press release. We wanted the other thing: the pricing page as it was that month, the traffic curve, the acquisition channels, the support threads — sourced, dated and comparable across companies, so you can learn from a business instead of admiring it.
How we work
Three rules that decide what makes it into a report.
Sourced or absent
Every field carries its sources and the date it was checked. A field we could not source says so rather than being filled with a plausible guess.
Drafted by agent, checked by a person
A research agent gathers and drafts; an editor reviews before publication. Numbers are labelled as company-reported or as a model estimate, never blended.
Dated, never overwritten
A new version is a new report. Older versions stay exactly as they were published, so you can see what changed and when.
